A Storage Place has proudly served the Taos community since 1991. Founded by Merlinda and George James, the family business was built on a simple idea: provide affordable storage with honest and dependable service.
Today, the business is still run by Merlinda and George alongside their sons, Hargis and Harrison James. Even the next generation is growing up around the family business. Being family-owned and operated isn’t just something we say, it’s who we are.
For more than three decades, we’ve provided local residents, skiers and seasonal visitors, college students, and small businesses with storage they can rely on.
